The beaches of Laranaca and Makenzie are just a 15 minute drive from the property, where you will find miles of sand, water sports, including paragliding, wind surfing, banana boats and diving courses (to full PADI level).

 

 

Larnaca town center has a wide variety of shops including many high street names such as Marks and Spencer, Next, Debenhams, Top Shop as well as beautiful local stores.
Larnaca Marina offers everything for those looking for a night out or special lunchtime meal, with its wide variety of bars, restaurants and nightlife it's the place to be. Local taxis to and from the property should cost approximately €15.00

Close at hand is also the newly opened Dreamlands family park and a 10 minute drive can have you at the highly rated karting track

The Sunday Market on the Dhekelia Road is an excellent way to spend the morning browsing at the local products and getting a bargain or two to take back with you.
The nearest bar is located 1 kilometer from the property, and for evening entertainment the delightful villages of Pervolia & Kiti both offer a selection of restaurants offering typical Cypriot cuisine, and European dishes. There is also a number of bars and tavernas , an excellent Chinese restaurant and for those wanting a traditional English Breakfast or Sunday roast try Tony's Bar and Grill. The Soutas Taverna in Pervolia is highly recommended & on a Saturday night there is Greek dancing/entertainment.

Omodos Village – Troodos Mountains. Very popular traditional Cypriot village well known for wine making with the centre piece being the beautiful old church (remember to dress appropriately if going in the church). This village has some great little craft shops tucked away in the narrow cobbled streets that wind around the village and lots of alfresco lunching and drinking in the main street, definitely worth a visit on your way up to or down from Platres !

 

Psilo Dendro Trout Farm & Restaurant – Platres in the Troodos Mountains. A stunning location and the drive up is breath takingly beautiful, (Use a 4x4 vehicle in Jan & Feb if there is snow, and there usually is). Platres is somewhere straight out of an Austrian ski resort and is popular with tourists from the UK and Cypriots alike. It is a popular ski resort in the winter. The trout is fresh and very tasty and there is also a variety of other dishes on offer. Perfect for lunch ! 1 hour 50 minute drive but allow for some sight seeing en-route.
